Microsoft stops Xbox HD DVD drive

Microsoft, in its recent announcement has said clearly that it has decided to halt their production of Xbox 360 HD DVD drive which is yet another setback for Toshiba. Once, a key supporter for Toshiba's HD DVD concept, lost its interest now after Blu-ray disc won the race. It was very lucky for Microsoft because they never signed a deal which allowed Toshiba to provide in-built drives. So hereafter, one can expect blu-ray drives within your 360 console.
